At the AJC Great Debate in Washington DC, Rabbis Uri Regev, Hiddush CEO and Shlomo Riskin, a Modern Orthodox Rabbi discussed many of the key issues that are relevant today in the public discourse on religion and state in Israel. Three of the most critical issues debated were:

-The impact of extreme elements in the ultra-Orthodox world on the Chief Rabbinate and Israeli Judaism
-Israel's marriage crisis
-Religious pluralism as a strategic interest for Israelis and World Jewry
